Dr Caroline Taylor-Walker trained to be a Doctor in the UK and arrived in Torquay in 2010. She has a love for helping and supporting the community’s health in a holistic manner, wishing to listen to every patient’s needs and provide them with the best healthcare possible. This is why she started SCHD Australia’s first dedicated Home GP visiting service in 2012 to meet a massive gap in the healthcare system.
She has extensive training in all areas of medicine including: Emergency medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Vascular Surgery and General Medicine.
She holds postgraduate Diplomas that provide extensive knowledge and experience in women’s and child’s health via:

The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK) (DRCOG)
The Royal Collage of Paediatrics (UK) DCH
She also holds post graduate certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and Dermatology with the University of Queensland along with working in and owning Medical Skin Clinic Australia: A Skin Cancer, Cosmetic and Laser clinic in Torquay:

She is also qualified to fit contraceptive devices such as Implanon and the Mirena. She is trained in Advanced CPR. She also has extensive training in Cosmetic Medicine (Anti-wrinkle injections, Laser, PRP & Thread Lift to name a few).

Dr Caroline also helps examine Medical students at Deakin University and acts as a GP Supervisor for GPs in training.
