Surf Coast Home Doctor are looking for a receptionist to join our fantastic team!

1 x permanent part time position still available as part of a job share arrangement.

Work from home as our receptionist carrying out reception and admin duties for a great team.

The position will consist of 1 to 2 weekdays of 8.45am to 7.15pm and every second Saturday 12.45 to 5.45pm. Hours are non negotiable. The final roster of days will be negotiated with the successful candidates.

Tasks will include, but not limited to:
Answering the phone, booking appointments, organising appointments and the Doctors, taking payments, scanning, uploading correspondence, sending faxes and emails, directing the Doctors and other admin jobs for the doctors.

You will be supported by the Practice Managers, Practice Nurses and the Doctors.

Essential skills:
Previous Medical receptionist roles.
Excellent phone manner and customer service skills and ability.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable.
Calm and sensible.
Can use initiative.
Lives Locally with good knowledge of the local area.
Flexible.
Ability to work independently.
Proficient to advanced skills in IT, Word, Excel.
Experience using Medical Software programs.

Desirable Skills:
Completion of an accredited medical receptionist course.
Experience using Best Practice and Shedul.

Start Date: 13th of February (non-negotiable).
